Splenomegaly
- Splenomegaly is a medical condition marked by an enlarged spleen organ. Splenomegaly, or enlarged spleen symptoms may be due to an infectious disease such as malaria, mononucleosis, syphilis, or typhoid fever. Splenomegaly may also accompany other medical conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis or cirrhosis of the liver leading to enlargement of the spleen.
